Participants:

In order to achieve the intended goals of this workshop, we invited 12 prominent speakers, from industries, university and research laboratories, representing cross-section of aircraft, space and defense sectors in Canada, the Europe and US.

With only one-month of advanced announcement and the registration deadline less than this period, initially, we were targeting and expecting @ 60-70 participants to attend this workshop. It has been our intention to distinguish this workshop as a focused targeted activity with defined mission and anticipated specific follow-up results rather than holding a conference, seminar or symposium.

Within two weeks of the workshop announcement, over 135 participants from all three sectors of aircraft, space and defense representing - industries, universities and government organizations, responded their intention to participate in the workshop. With this overwhelming response, we were constrained to limit the registration and change the venue and logistics in order to accommodate all registered participants.
